WARWICK, R.I. – Saints men's golf placed second by 11 shots on Thursday in a dual match with Rhode Island College, hosted at Valley Country Club, on a rainy afternoon. Emmanuel 336 as a team while Rhode Island College won the two-team dual, shooting 325 on the day.
First-year
Andrew Lavoie returned to his home course at Valley Country Club and led the Saints with a 5-over round of 77, good for second place. Senior
Ian Reynolds finished fourth after shooting 82 while a 12-over-par round of 84 for sophomore
Ryan Brunet put him in fifth place.
Rhode Island College senior
Jasper Bruin Slot made five birdies on his way to medalist honors after a round of 2-over-par, 74. The Anchormen's
Cameron Mello finished fourth after shooting 80.
The Saints are back on the course on Friday, traveling to the Keene State Invitational at Keene Country Club with tee times starting at 9:30 a.m.
