BOSTON – Back for the first time in 2025, Emmanuel indoor track and field continued their season with the Suffolk University Relays on Saturday at the TRACK at New Balance.
The top finish of the day belonged to junior
Emily Greene, whose performance in the high jump netted a fifth place finish after clearing the bar at 1.45 meters. Greene added a 14
th place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:41.89.
Sophomore
Kason Huynh took home a top-10 finish of her own in the high jump after her clearance of 1.40 meters placed her ninth. Senior
Cynthia Brito added a ninth-place finish for herself, coming in the triple jump with a season-best distance of 10.16 meters.
For the Saints men, junior
Pierre Paul Labossiere posted a pair of top-12 finishes with an eighth place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 12.83 meters. The junior field star added an 11
th place finish in the high jump with a clearance of 1.85 meters.
Junior
Jahan Puryear set a personal best in the pole vault, clearing a height of 2.75 meters, good for 11
th position. Puryear's pole vault PR bested his previous best by six inches.
The Saints season rolls on at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational, hosted at Tufts University on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 10:00 a.m.
