Weekend Performances by Morgan, Haber Net GNAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Honors

 WEYMOUTH, Mass. – Emmanuel sophomore Nathan Morgan had his best finish in the 400 meters this season, while first-year Nathan Haber set a new program record in the pole vault on Saturday at the Wesleyan Indoor Invite, resulting in the Saints duo being named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Track Athlete and Rookie of the Week, respectively, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Morgan finished in fifth place in the 400 meters this past weekend, finishing the event in a time of 53.32. He added a ninth place in the long jump and a third place as part of the 4x400 relay team on Saturday.

Haber scored a seventh place finish in the pole vault, while setting the program record in the event, clearing the bar at 3.70 meters. The height cleared by Haber ranks second in the conference this season.

The Saints are back in action on Friday, Jan. 30, as the take part in the Roxbury Community College Open.
