WINTHROP, Mass. – Emmanuel men's volleyball came away with a 3-2 week overall and have swept the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday.

Louis Da Silva was named the Defensive Player of the Week for a second consecutive week. Junior
Michael Shelley clinched his first Offensive Player of the Week. First-year
Jehuda Tawalujan wrapped up the Saints sweep, claiming the Setter and Rookie of the Week honors.
Da Silva opened the week with a program-record 13-block performance in a 3-2 win over Regis in GNAC play. Over five matches this past week, Da Silva finished with 26 blocks, good for 1.30 blocks per set. The senior middle is averaging 1.30 blocks per set this season, leading the conference and fourth-best in Division III.
Shelley scores his first GNAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after averaging 5.00 kills per set in five matches. The junior outside hitter accounted for at least 21 points in four of the Saints five contests last week while hitting .303 from the floor.
Tawalujan collected 161 total assists over five matches to average 8.90 assists per set. Among his performances, the rookie setter recorded a career-high 43 assists in the Saints 3-2 victory over Regis on Jan. 21.
Emmanuel is back in action on Thursday, Jan. 30, as the head to No. 14 Lasell for GNAC play at 7:00 p.m.
