GREENWOOD, Ind. – Saints junior
Jacob Williams and sophomore
Noah Beaudet have been selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Men's Basketball Academic All-District® Team, as announced by the CSC on Tuesday. The Saints duo earn a spot on the CSC Team for the first time in their careers.
Nomination to the CSC Academic All-District® Team requires a combination of academic and athletic achievements to be selected. Academically, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA. Athletically, those selected must start in 66 percent of their team's games or participate in 90 percent of a team's contests.
Williams played in a career-high 23 games for the Saints, making six starts in 2024-25. The junior center set several career highs, including minutes played, points per game, rebounds, and assists, among others.
Beaudet saw an increased role in his sophomore campaign, playing in all 25 games while making 22 starts. The sophomore guard saw his scoring increase by nearly seven points a game, up to 11.2 points while playing nearly 30 minutes per game. Beaudet scored at least 10 points in 16 of the Saints 25 games, including a career-high 23 points against Elms on Feb. 10.
Unlike in past years, the nomination to the Academic All-District® team does not necessarily move a student-athlete into consideration for the Academic All-American® ballot. A committee, comprised of Academic All-American® Core Members and members from the CSC will determine which athletes move to the All-American ballot.
Once the ballot is released, CSC members have until April 1 to vote for Academic All-Americans®. The CSC will announce the Academic All-American® First, Second, and Third Teams on Tuesday, April 15.
