GREENWOOD, Ind. – Six members of the Emmanuel women's lacrosse program have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Women's At-Large Academic All-District® Team, as announced by the CSC on Tuesday afternoon.
Class of 2025 members Abby Brown, Delaney Brown, and Dejaliyah Srimouksavanh join rising seniors Halle Miller, Reese Pavao, and Madeline Wright as the six Saints on the Women's At-Large Academic All-District® Team.
Nomination to the CSC Academic All-District® Team requires a combination of academic and athletic achievements to be selected. Academically, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA. Athletically, those selected must start in 66 percent of their team's games or participate in 90 percent of a team's contests.
Women's At-Large selections are comprised of student-athletes from 12 eligible sports, according to the CSC. Emmanuel women's lacrosse is the only sport in the list of eligible sports that can be considered for an At-Large selection. Institutions are limited to six selections to the Women's At-Large Academic All-District® Team from those dozen sports.
Abby Brown scores her second straight nomination to the Women's At-Large Academic All-District® Team. The Saco, Maine native and Second Team All-Conference attack finished the season with a career-high 36 points on 14 goals and 22 assists.
Delaney Brown picks up her third nomination to the Women's At-Large Academic All-District® Team after another dominant season on the Saints defense. Delaney Brown finishes her career with three All-Conference First Team nods and was named a two-time Conference Player of the Year.
Srimouksavanh earns her first spot on the Women's At-Large Academic All-District® Team in 2025, following a 57-point season of 37 goals and 20 assists. Srimouksavanh completes her time at Emmanuel as a four-time All-Conference Team selection.
Miller picks up her second straight nomination to the Women's At-Large Academic All-District® Team after a breakout season on defense. Miller was named to the All-Conference Third Team following a season with career-highs of 45 ground balls and 31 caused turnovers.
Pavao finds her way onto the Women's At-Large Academic All-District® Team for the first time in her career. Yet another defensive breakout candidate, Pavao played in 19 of the Saints 21 games, making 17 starts along the way.
Wright finishes up the Women's At-Large Academic All-District® Team selections, earning her first nod to the squad in her career. Wright was named the Conference Midfielder of the Year, also earning First Team All-Conference Midfielder honors, thanks to a program record 74 goals this season.
Unlike in past years, the nomination to the Academic All-District® team does not necessarily move a student-athlete into consideration for the Academic All-American® ballot. A committee, comprised of Academic All-American® Core Members and members from the CSC will determine which athletes move to the All-American ballot.
Once the ballot is released, CSC members have until June 24 to vote for Academic All-Americans®. The CSC will announce the Academic All-American® First, Second, and Third Teams on Tuesday, July 8.
