Adams Earns Fourth GNAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week Honors

WINTHROP, Mass. – For a fourht time this season, Saints first-year Danny Adams produced the best week among rookies in the conference and has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the GNAC Office on Feb. 9.

Adams averaged 15.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists while shooting 50 percent (10-of-20) from the field in a 2-0 week for the Saints. The rookie guard put up 19 points (6-of-10) and six rebounds with two blocks to defeat Regis before following with 11 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in a win over Elms.

For the season, Adams is averaging 11.2 points on 42.2 percent shooting from the field. The Quincy, Mass. native is averaging 23.7 minutes per game, coming off the bench for the majority of his time this season. Through 21 games, Adams has made an appearance in the starting lineup just seven times.

The Saints are back in action for a pair of games this week, starting on Wednesday, Feb. 11, with a trip to Dean, before coming home on Friday, Feb. 13, for Senior Night against Mitchell at 4:30 p.m.
