WINTHROP, Mass. – Senior Nick Sciabica posted one of his best defensive performances of the season, resulting in the Saints libero being named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday afternoon.

In the Saints 3-1 win over Curry on Feb. 4, Sciabica finished with 16 digs to average 4.00 digs per set, while being a perfect 17-for-17 on serve receptions. A Saints co-captain, Sciabica sits in fourth in the GNAC this season in averaging 2.11 digs per set.

Emmanuel hits the court for one match this week, hosting the No. 11 Wentworth Leopards on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 6:00 p.m.
