WINTHROP, Mass. - Saints sophomore Grace Garon opened her second season for Emmanuel in center field and batted 4-for-6 in two games on Sunday, resulting in her being named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday afternoon.

As part of the Florida swing in Clermont, Garon started her season with a 1-for-2 day against St. John Fisher, before adding to her strong Sunday with a 3-for-4 game against Saint Vincent College, which included three runs scored.

The Saints continue their Florida trip with a pair of games on Tuesday, March 3, facing Chatham at 10:00 a.m., followed by Allegheny at 12:15 p.m.
