MIDDLETOWN, Conn -Â Freshman
Nathan Haber set an Emmanuel College Men's Indoor Track & Field program record in the pole vault, clearing 3.70m (12' 1.5"), on Saturday afternoon at the Wesleyan Alumni Indoor Invitational. Haber's personal best vault snaps Griffin Bean's record 3.55m (11' 7.75") set at the February 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships.Â
Freshman
Alisha Gomes finished second in the 60m final in a time of 8.17, a personal best that currently leads the GNAC, and came in fourth place in the 200m final in 27.55, the second fastest time in the GNAC.
Kason Huynh had two personal bests at the meet in high jump and triple jump, placing second in the high jump with a jump of 1.55m and sixth in the triple jump with a jump of 9.88m.
Donna Gauvin jumped 10.18m in the triple jump for fourth place.Â
Sophomore
Olivia Costa ran a 1:04.22 in the 400m for a fifth place finish. In the 800m event,
Aida Davis (2:31.37) placed second,
Kendall Newton (2:35.21) fifth, and
Sofia Rowen (2:43.14) tenth.
Sydney Gonzalez ran a 5:38.11 mile to earn sixth place.
Julia Kurthy finished third in the mile in a time of 20:15.31.

Kendall Newton finished second place in a cumulative time of 10:41.34.Â
Freshman Shariff Robinson ran a personal best in the 60m finals (7.28) for an eighth-place finish.
Nathan Morgan finished fifth in the 400m in a time of 53.32.
The men's 4x400m relay of Eli Roy, Pierre Labossierre, Isaiah Etienne, and Nathan Morgan ran 3:46.29 to place third. Labossierre also finished fourth in the triple jump (13.23m).
