WEYMOUTH, Mass. - Week 14 of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Basketball weekly honors saw a familiar face yet again, as Saints first-year guard Danny Adams was named the GNAC Rookie of the Week for a second consecutive week and the fifth time this season, as announced on Monday afternoon by the conference office.

The Saints rookie averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while collecting 1.5 steals/blocks apiece in a 2-0 week for the Saints. Adams put up 10 points and six rebounds in Emmanuel's win over Dean before netting 15 points and dishing six assists on Mitchell in the victory on Friday night.

This season in the Saints 10 conference games, Adams is averaging 11.4 points and 3.9 rebounds, to go along with 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

The GNAC regular season comes to a close this week, while the Saints are in action for a pair of games. Starting on Tuesday, Feb. 17, hosting Norwich, before closing out the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 21, with a trip to Rivier. A pair of Saints victories and a loss by Lasell in one of their final two games opens the door for a GNAC Postseason Game on Yosinoff Court next week.
