HOOKSETT, N.H. - Emmanuel track & field was back in action on Thursday, taking part in its second meet of the spring season, at the Southern New Hampshire University Spring Invitational, hosted by SNHU at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium.
The top finish of the day on the women's side belonged to sophomore
Olivia Costa, who recorded a second place finish in the 400 meters, finishing in a time of 1:02.75. She added a fourth place in the 400-meter hurdles, with a time of 1:10.31.
First-year
Molly Hough competed in the 3K steeplechase and placed third, thanks to a time of 12:35.55. Sophomore
Aida Davis added a fourth place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:30.18.
A program record fell in the women's 100-meter hurdles as sophomore
Donna Gauvin earned the record with a time of 16.33.
On the men's side, senior
Pierre Paul Labossiere scored a pair of top-four finishes, coming in second in the triple jump with a distance of 13.30 meters, to go along with a fourth place in the high jump, clearing the bar at 1.75 meters.
Sophomore
Nathan Morgan finished fifth in the 400 meters and the 400-meter hurdles with times of 52.48 and 1:02.73, respectively. Senior
Jahan Puryear placed sixth in the 800 meters with his time of 2:06.41.
The Saints return to action on Saturday, April 4, at the Jim Sheehan Invitstional, hosted at Fitchburg State.
