LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Emmanuel senior attackman
Cole Cloney produced 14 points in two games this past week, earning a spot on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week, for the week of games ending on March 28.
In the Saints opening game last week, a 12-6 win over New England College on March 25, Cloney collected a season-high nine points, thanks to six goals and three assists. In the Saints March 28 win over Colby-Sawyer, Cloney added three goals and two assists, as well as a career-high six ground balls.
For the Week 7 Team of the Week, Cloney's 14 points came on nine goals and five assists. He added a total of seven ground balls and three caused turnovers in a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) victories. The Medford, Mass., native is the first representative from the GNAC on a USILA Team of the Week this season.
Emmanuel sits at 5-5 (5-1 GNAC) this season as they enter a two-game homestand, facing Mitchell on Saturday, April 4, at 3:00 p.m., followed by Dean on Tuesday, April 7, at 7:00 p.m.
