WINTHROP, Mass. – With a pair of top-four finishes, Saints sophomore
Olivia Costa has earned the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Track Athlete of the Week honors, as announced on Monday by the conference. Costa has won two of the first three GNAC Track Athlete of the Week honors after claiming the honors in the opening week of the season.
Costa continued her strong spring by posting a conference-leading time of 1:09.99 to finish second in the 400-meter hurdles at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Meet. She also placed fourth in the 400 meters in 1:01.68, which also stands as the top time in the GNAC this season.
The Saints are back in action on Friday, April 10, at the Regis Spring Invite, with events starting at 10:00 a.m.
