WINTHROP, Mass. – Emmanuel men's soccer placed three players on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Third Team, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. First-year
Jacob Beck added a major award from the GNAC, being named the conference Rookie of the Year, as voted on by the head coaches of the GNAC.
Beck becomes the first player in men's soccer program history to win any of the Major Awards from the GNAC. The rookie defender finished the season with five goals and three assists and ranked second on the team in points with 13.

Joe Anderson, and first-year
Rafael Matamoros all received nomination to the GNAC Third Team, following one of the Saints best seasons in team history.
Senior captain
David Gydus picked up a spot on the GNAC Sportsmanship squad after making eight appearances for Emmanuel this year.
DiPace made 17 starts for the Saints this season, finishing the year with one goal as the primary left back for the Saints defense.
Anderson appeared in all 19 matches for Emmanuel and led the team with 15 points after a season of five goals and five assists.
Matamoros made 18 appearances for the Saints, leading the team with six assists in his rookie season. The first-year defender was one of six Saints with at least 10 points this season in the Saints balanced output.
Emmanuel finished the season 10-6-3 and 9-3-2 in GNAC play to earn its first-ever home playoff game in program history. The Saints went on to win that home playoff game in penalty kicks before bowing out in the GNAC Semifinals.
