BOSTON - Back for their fourth meet of the 2024 season, the Emmanuel Saints cross country teams made the short trip to Franklin Park to compete in the 56th annual running of the Cod Fish Bowl.
On the women's side, junior
Sydney Gonzalez placed 50th in the event with a time of 21:35.4, leading all Saints runners. First-year
Caroline Abbott was next over the line for the program, finishing in 61st position with a 5k time of 22:00.0. Sophomore
Kendall Newton posted a 72nd place finish after her time of 22:20.5.
For the Saints men, sophomore
Nicholas Ware was the first to cross the line for Emmanuel after his 8k time of 29:59.4, good for 99th place. Sophomore
Luke Bullock and first-year
Alex Mazzarelli finished alongside one another after times of 30:51.6 and 30:52.6, respectively.
The Saints are back in two weeks, heading to Norwich on Friday, October 4, for the Norwich Cadet Invitational, starting at 4:00 p.m.
