WINTHROP, Mass. - Emmanuel men's basketball first-year Danny Adams opened his Saints career as quite the spark off the bench, earning the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday afternoon. This week was the conference's first edition of the weekly awards, as Adams became the first Saints Rookie of the Week since January 2024.

Adams started his Saints career with a spectacular 23 points in only 18 minutes against Baruch on Nov. 7. He finished the night with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting, to go with four rebounds and two steals. The next night, the rookie guard added 18 points in 28 minutes on 6-for-10 from the floor. For the week, Adams averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals, while shooting 15-for-23 (65.2 percent) from the field.

The Saints play an exhibition game on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the University of New Hampshire at 7:00 p.m. They close the week on Saturday, Nov. 15, with a trip to Roger Williams.
