GREENWOOD, Ind. – Emmanuel seniors Annebel Balogh de Galantha, Liz McCormick, Loliana Morales, and Eva Simmons, as well as juniors Paige Letourneau and Libby Tennant, have all been selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the CSC on Nov. 25.
To be eligible for selection to the CSC Academic All-District teams, a student-athlete must compete in 90 percent of a team's matches or start in at least 66 percent of contests throughout the year.
Other criteria necessary for selection include that nominees must be a sophomore in athletic and academic standing and hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA. Transfer students in their first semester at a new institution are now also eligible, provided they have a 3.50 or higher cumulative GPA at their previous institution.
Graduate students are judged based on their final undergraduate cumulative GPA for nomination until a new graduate program GPA has been established.
Balogh de Galantha and Simmons, the Saints co-captains for the last two seasons, finish their careers as three-time selections to the CSC Academic All-District Team, earning the honors in 2023, 2024, and now in 2025.
McCormick and Tennant make their second straight CSC Academic All-District squad after both claiming the honors last season.
Letourneau and Morales join the Saints group for the first time on the CSC Academic All-District squad. Letourneau, a first-semester transfer now eligible for the recognition, satisfied all other criteria to be named to the squad.
Unlike in past years, the nomination to the Academic All-District team does not necessarily move a student-athlete into consideration for the Academic All-American® ballot. A committee, comprised of Academic All-American® Core Members and members from the CSC will determine which athletes move to the All-American ballot.
Once the ballot is released, CSC members have until Dec. 2 to vote for Academic All-Americans®. The CSC will announce the Academic All-American® First, Second, and Third Teams on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Last season, Balogh de Galantha and McCormick became Emmanuel's fourth and fifth-ever CSC Academic All-Americans®, both earning spots on the CSC All-America Third Team in 2024.
