WINTHROP, Mass. – Recording another two victories in the field for Saints track and field, senior Desiree Robinson has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday afternoon.

Robinson earned the Field Athlete of the Week honors for a second consecutive week thanks to a pair of victories in the long jump and triple jump at the Silfen Invitational on Saturday at Connecticut College. With a distance of 5.04 meters in the long jump and 10.95 meters in the triple jump, Robinson took the top spot in her two field events.

In field events this spring, Robinson has three first-place finishes, two second-place finishes, and one third-place finish.

The Saints return to action on Saturday, April 19, competing in the Sean Collier Invitational, hosted at MIT.
