WINTHROP, Mass. - Saints sophomore Aleena Solano posted seven points in the Saints only match this week, earning the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week, as announced by the GNAC office on Monday. The Player of the Week nod for Solano is the first of the 2025 season and the first of her career.

The second-year forward's afternoon of two goals and three assists against Elms for seven points makes her one of 13 players for Emmanuel, dating back to 1997, to record seven points in a game. She's also now just one of nine players with a three-assist game, dating back to 1997.

The Saints continue their season with a pair of matches this week, starting on Wednesday, Sept. 17, vs. the University of Hartford at 7:00 p.m., followed by a Saturday, Sept. 20, conference game at Mitchell.
