Dullaghan Nets Three Goals to Claim GNAC Player of the Week Award

WINTHROP, Mass. - Emmanuel women's soccer senior Sarah Dullaghan scored three goals in two matches this past week, earning the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week honors, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday afternoon. Dullaghan's honor of being named the GNAC Player of the Week to wrap up September is her first this season.

The senior forward opened the week with a pair of goals at Albertus Magnus, leading to a 2-2 draw on September 24. She followed that performance with a penalty kick tally on September 27 in a 4-0 win over the University of Saint Joseph.

Dullaghan has scored a goal in three consecutive matches and leads the team with seven goals in eight contests this year. For her career, Dullaghan sits at 86 goals, as she seeks to become just the 26th player in NCAA Division III Women's Soccer history to record 100 career tallies.

The Saints season resumes on Tuesday, Sept. 30, with a trip to Regis for a 7:00 p.m. game. Emmanuel then hosts Rivier on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 12:00 p.m. on Emmanuel's Friends and Family Weekend.
