Bossou Earns Second Consecutive GNAC Player of the Week Honors

WINTHROP, Mass. - Saints sophomore Letitia Bossou helped the Saints to three wins this past week, as her ascension as one of the conference's best hitters continues, with Bossou being named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week for a second consecutive week, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday.

The second-year right side hitter finished the week with 43 total kills, averaging 4.30 kills per set, while hitting .405 from the field, across 10 sets. She posted double-digit kills in every match, including 17 on a .444 clip in a sweep over Simmons. Bossou added seven blocks and four digs on the week. The Rochester, Minn. native's run of matches with double-digit kills just came to an end this weekend, as she had recorded at least 10 kills in 10 straight matches before ending Saturday's win at Colby-Sawyer with eight.

Emmanuel has one match this week as they play for a chance to set the program record for consecutive wins, as the Saints enter the match on a 17-match winning streak. One of the toughest tests of the season, the Regis Pride, comes to Andy Yosinoff Court on Friday, Oct. 24, for a 6:00 p.m. match. The Saints will celebrate Senior Night prior to first serve.
